Antony wanted to start a war against the conspirators because of Caesar's death.
Most of the citizens believed in Brutus because when he was doing his speech he had told them that he killed Caesar because he loved Rome.
Brutus was forced by Cassius to enter the conspiracy to kill Caesar and prevent him from getting crowned.
In the meanwhile Rome was in a time when war was going on and the citizens were under the control of Caesar.
The ambition of Brutus and Cassius lead them to a tragic end.
In Philippi Antony's soldiers attacked Brutus and his people.
One of Brutus' soldiers had to kill Cassius so that Antony didn't get him and make him suffer for Caesar's death.
Nothing is more powerful than ambition unless you know how to control it.

Act IV Blog
Ambition is like a curse, for you are never relieved of it until you are granted death.
Ambition is lust that is never quenched, for it grows stronger and madder day by day.
Julius Caesar is like a serpent because he is ambitious in every way and seeks dominance of Rome.
